Wellness Recovery Action Plan®
The Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP® is a non-clinical program that explores key recovery concepts and provides tools to support well-being. This evidence-based recovery program guides participants in developing individualized recovery plans and emphasizes the principles of hope, responsibility, education, self-advocacy, and support, thereby equipping them to maintain wellness.
The benefits of participating in WRAP include the following:
- Enhanced positive attitudes and increased knowledge regarding recovery and self-advocacy.
- Increased preparedness, improved crisis planning, and a stronger belief in the possibility of recovery.
- Development of effective self-care strategies that can be applied in daily life.

Hope & Me is committed to following the full fidelity requirements and foundational standards established by Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) and WRAP Inc. Our WRAP programming, training, and facilitator development pathways are delivered in alignment with these guidelines to ensure quality, consistency, and integrity across all levels of WRAP in Ontario and Canada.

WRAP® Foundations Training
WRAP Foundations is the core training stream within Hope & Me’s WRAP Learning Pathway. It introduces participants to the essential principles, values, and practices of Wellness Recovery Action Planning, creating a strong base for personal wellness and future facilitator development. The Foundations stream emphasizes self‑determination, hope, personal responsibility, and the power of peer support, while ensuring all learning aligns with the fidelity standards established by AHP and WRAP Inc.
What WRAP Foundations Includes
WRAP Level I – Personal WRAP development, core concepts, and foundational wellness tools.
WRAP Level II – Advanced skill‑building for those interested in facilitation, leadership, and deeper WRAP practice.
Apprenticeship & Mentoring Pathway – Supported opportunities for graduates to lead their first WRAP groups within Hope & Me programming.
